State-of-the-Art Audio-Visual Technology for the Turrentine Room
New video and sound equipment (speakers, projector, screen, microphones, receiver, and multimedia player) in the Turrentine Room will benefit the entire community. Whether renting the room for a private event or participating in a library or community event held in the room everyone will have access to high quality sound and visual equipment for their programs and presentations.
State-of-the-Art Security System
The Foundation Board intends to partner with the city in the installation of a state-of-the-art security system for the library facility. This system will assist the staff operations as operating hours are expanded; the system will also be connected directly to the Escondido Police Department to assist staff as situations require. Our library is a safe place for Library users, and we want to help keep it safe for all users and staff.
